The baby showers are over. The teeny tiny clothes are (mostly) washed. The car seat is installed. The hospital bag packed. And the ankles are starting to swell.

Isn't this time of year glorious? I mean, in Alabama we've only barely begun to taste a true fall, but it's still exciting to see the cotton fields ready to be picked, to feel the occasional cool breeze on my skin, to admire the pumpkins of all colors, shapes, and sizes. I'm sure there will be some people out there who might roll their eyes, tell me "that's just the way it is", or just plain disagree. And that's fine. You do you, people.
But I'm going to do me, and this girl refuses to accept that busy is the bitter pill we all must swallow. Nope. I ain't doin it. (By the way... have you seen those videos? They make me giggle. But I digress.)

Settled. Everyone keeps asking if we're all settled in our new house. I'd love to say yes, but the answer is quite the opposite.
